Wow! CIS Volunteer Mike Munao has been volunteering with CIS-Charlotte for as long as CIS-Charlotte has existed! Mike is one of CIS-Charlotte’s first volunteers, and he still has the letter from 1986 welcoming him as a volunteer. Communities In Schools of Charlotte-Mecklenburg was chartered in December 1985 and is celebrating 30 years this school year (2015-16) of helping at-risk students succeed in school, graduate high school and be prepared to achieve in life.
