Introducing Ivy! After graduating from West Charlotte High School in June, Ivy is excited to attend North Carolina Central University. Ivy is exceptionally proud of being a first-generation college student and was accepted to 13 colleges and universities! Ivy is an active member of several clubs and organizations at West Charlotte, including the National Honor Society, the Student Government Association and Delaware College Scholars.
Ivy stated that her CIS Site Coordinator, Ms. Alexus Johnson, “has always encouraged me to attend college even when I thought I couldn’t. I am very grateful to have someone like Ms. Johnson on my team.”
Ivy will be studying Early Childhood Development at NCCU, and dreams of owning several daycares around the Charlotte area one day. Congratulations to Ivy and all of our graduating seniors in the Class of 2023!
