Creating a Welcoming Environment for Students

On Wednesday, February 8, join CIS-Charlotte, MeckEd and the City of Charlotte’s “Welcoming Charlotte Partnership” as they lead a community discussion on “Creating a Welcoming Environment for Students.” Leaders in education, policy, and service delivery will explore and discuss additional ways to foster supportive environments for our diverse schools and student populations. Federico Rios, CIS Director of Immigrant Services, will moderate the panel. The event is 6:00-7:30 pm at the International House, located at 1817 Central Avenue.
