ThinkCOLLEGE® & Career Center
 

The ThinkCOLLEGE® & Career Center is a community-based information and counseling center open to all Charlotte-Mecklenburg students and adults. The Center is an outreach initiative of the Communities in Schools’ ThinkCOLLEGE® program, which provides school-based college access services to area students.

Location
The Center is housed at Freedom Regional Library, 1230 Alleghany Street, Charlotte, NC 28208 (next door to Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology).

Services and Resources
The ThinkCOLLEGE® & Career Center provides a wide range of services and activities, including:

  • One-on-one counseling with professional trained ThinkCOLLEGE® advisors and trained volunteers
  • College application assistance
  • Financial Aid Workshops  
  • SAT, ACT, and PSAT preparation
  • Workshops for students and parents
  • Scholarship searches

The Center's staff is available to provide college awareness presentations to youth and community groups at your location. Call 704-416-4232 for information and to schedule a presentation.
