Our efforts - along with support of our many dedicated volunteers, health and human service partners, corporations, faith communities, and civic organizations - are making a difference in the lives of Charlotte-Mecklenburg students. 

Recent Success Rates 

• 97% of CIS students stayed in school.
  
• 88% were promoted to the next grade.
  
• 94% of CIS seniors graduated from high school.
  
• 150+ CIS graduates are currently enrolled in college on scholarships secured with the assistance of CIS. Most of these students are the first in their families to attend college.
