Many thanks to Target and Second Harvest Food Bank for collaborating with CIS to provide a monthly Food Pantry for families at Albemarle Road Elementary School. Initiated in May of 2011, Target has committed to supporting the food pantry once per month during the 2011-12 school year. CIS Site Coordinator at Albemarle Road, Maritza Whitsell, identifies the families in need and coordinates the logistics, including volunteers from Target and Second Harvest Food Bank.
