Interested in volunteering with Communities In Schools?  YOU can make a difference in our schools by tutoring or mentoring a child - or we can find other ways that you can provide volunteer support for our mission to help students stay in school, graduate, and achieve in life.  Come learn more at our next Communities In Schools New Volunteer Orientation!

Communities In Schools New Volunteer Orientation
Monday, February 11th
6:00-7:15 pm
(The program will start promptly at 6:00 so please arrive a few minutes early to grab a snack and sign in!)

Children & Family Services Center
601 East 5th Street, Charlotte NC 28202
Training Room 2

Parking is free in the Children & Family Services Center's gated lot off of 5th Street. Please check in at the security desk in the lobby, and you will be directed to Training Room 2.  We will discuss your expectations for your volunteer experience, relationship development with your student, awareness of cultural diversity issues, and volunteer policies and procedures. Attendance is required for all incoming volunteers. Light refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!
