Hats off to Cory Bennett, a 2007 CIS graduate from Garinger High School, who is now a CIS-Charlotte Site Coordinator at Thomasboro Academy! Bennett and fellow CIS Site Coordinator Janelle Dunlap helped the CIS National Office coordinate a National Day of Service at Thomasboro on Saturday, September 10, in honor of the 9/11 memorial weekend. Representing the CIS National office that weekend was another CIS-Charlotte graduate, Mordecai Scott, who is employed with the national office as its Alumni Network Specialist Several CIS students and alumni from West Charlotte High School came out to help, and kids in the neighborhood joined in as the project got underway! Great job, you guys!
