Individual Gifts
We rely on your individual gifts to support our programs, helping kids to stay in school, graduate and go on to college, and be prepared for life. In addition to cash donations, we accept gifts of stock. You may wish to make a gift in memory or in honor of a family member, friend, or colleague. Individuals can also support Communities In Schools by participating in our Dine Out For Kids® event in June each year, supporting our Holiday Cards Campaign in December, or by collecting school supplies for the School Tools Campaign in August.

Businesses and Corporations
Financial and volunteer support from businesses and corporations is vital to Communities In Schools, allowing us to reach more students and give them hope for the future. Corporations can help in a number of ways:

• Sponsor a School - provide financial and volunteer support through a Corporate Partnership
  
• Be a Corporate Sponsor for Dine Out For Kids® or  "Celebrating Our Graduates 
  
• Give to our Annual Campaign
  
• Establish a college scholarship fund for students through our ThinkCOLLEGE® program
  
• Organize an employee drive to collect school supplies for the annual School Tools Campaign in August

Civic and Faith-based Organizations
We have formed enriching and mutually rewarding partnerships with several churches and other organizations in the community. Your faith community, civic, or social organization can help Communities In Schools in the following ways:

• Encourage members to volunteer as tutors/mentors with Communities In Schools
  
• Collect school supplies for the annual School Tools Campaign in August
  
• Provide summer camp scholarships for students
  
• Establish a college scholarship fund for students through our ThinkCOLLEGE® program
  
• Sponsor a School - provide financial and volunteer support through our Partnerships program
  
• Participate in Dine Out For Kids® or volunteer at our annual "Celebrating Our Graduates" event. 

Equipment and Supplies
Communities In Schools may accept donations of office equipment and supplies; however, we ask that you call our Office Manager, Margaret Jones, at 704-335-0601, ext. 9438, to discuss before delivery, as our space is very limited. We are rarely able to accept used computers, as technology changes so rapidly and equipment must be compatible with our current system.
